Eye for Image boosts FLSmidth’s international communications Press release
Copenhagen, Denmark, February 2008 – FLSmidth, a leading supplier to the cement and minerals industries, has extended its partnership with communications agency Eye for Image, by signing a retainer agreement for all of its English-language marketing and communications materials.
Eye for Image, an internationally focused communications agency, has been working with FLSmidth’s group marketing department since 2005 on a broad range of communication tasks, offering copywriting and concepts.
As part of the retainer agreement, Eye for Image's skilled team of writers will now be available to work for all departments and subsidiaries in the FLSmidth Group. Eye for Image will also support the company’s existing advertising agencies.
"As an international company we know that world-class messages and excellent English have a positive impact on our brand. This agreement will bring benefits to our entire business,” says FLSmidth Group Marketing Manager, Anders Godiksen.
According to him, the agreement also means that FLSmidth is able to budget agency costs more precisely and manage resources better. “Eye for Image acts as an extension to the marketing department so we know that we can always get the work done on time and at an agreed price,” he adds.
Eye for Image employs native English writers who have years of experience dealing with complex terminology and design concepts to swiftly deliver clear, concise and easy-to-read materials that speak directly to stakeholders.
“We have enjoyed a close working relationship with Anders and FLSmidth for several years, but the agreement means that we can really become FLSmidth specialists and work with the company’s English materials in a more consistent way that will ultimately improve quality of its communication across all its businesses,” says Eye for Image Managing Partner, David Hoskin.
