Andrew ArnoldCopywriter and Strategist
Andrew’s rich communications and PR background means that he can tackle a wide variety of corporate communication tasks. After starting his journalism career on his local paper in the depths of the South Wales mining valleys, Andrew moved on to work in trade magazines and one of the first on-line news services in the UK. Since moving to Denmark in 1996 he has worked in financial journalism, corporate communications and public relations, focusing on getting Denmark and Danish products better known overseas. He worked at Carlsberg for six years as a Public Relations Consultant before taking on the post of Communications Manager for Hempel. Since then Andrew has worked in public relations – first in the Copenhagen office of Hill & Knowlton as account director for a global telecommunications account, before working as an independent consultant. Andrew holds a degree in Economics, specialising in economic history, and still reads avidly in the subject. He has recently co-authored a case study on Carlsberg in Creating Nordic Capitalism, a university textbook for economics students. Andrew is also a member of 26, a network of business writers with the aim of bringing creativity into business writing.
